FREE Air Conditioner Give-a-Way • Seniors • DWP

LADWP is Giving Out Free Air Conditioners to Qualified Seniors on August 26 
Qualifying seniors age 60+ who attend LADWP’s upcoming Cool LA Heat Relief for Seniors event in Pacoima on Monday, August 26 will receive a free portable room air conditioning unit!
 
Air conditioners are available while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis. One A/C unit may be provided per LADWP account.  
Requirements for the A/C:
  • RSVP and attend the event 
  • Be an LADWP customer age 60+ (bring proof of age) 
  • Be enrolled in or eligible for LADWP’s EZ-SAVE or Lifeline programs (you can enroll in EZ-SAVE on-site. (Please bring the documents below) 
 Items you should bring to the event:  
  • Government-issued ID with your name and date of birth 
  • Your LADWP bill

Light refreshments will be provided. Attendees will also be able to learn about and sign up for LADWP programs that save money, water, and energy. There will also be information on City of Los Angeles resources for seniors, such as help with meals and transportation. The event is co-hosted by the LA Department of Aging and the office of City Councilmember District 7 Monica Rodriguez.
