Volunteers Needed for the Homeless Count in South LA on 2/24/22

Posted on 01/16/2022

The annual Homeless Count is an essential component in getting vital information that helps us provide an accurate picture of the state of homelessness in Los Angeles and deliver services where they are most needed. It also increases general homelessness awareness with the public and increases engagement with leaders, residents, and stakeholders.

In light of the COVID-19 Omicron variant surge in Los Angeles County, LAHSA is postponing the 2022 Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count to February 22-24, 2022 to protect the health and safety of volunteers, staff, & people experiencing homelessness.

Volunteers are needed to contuct the Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count, taking place Thursday, February 24, 2022 beginning at 8:00pm in South Los Angeles.

By following COVID guidelines, participating is safe and easy. Do your part to help end homelessness — because everyone counts, no matter where they live.
